Hello Edutaggers! A recent suggestion was made to change the "tag" terminology to reflect web standards. Edutagger would like your help to determine what direction we should go.
Currently, "tagging" a link essentially counts as a vote, which adds to the popularity of a link and promotes it to the front page. In many sites (e.g. del.icio.us), a "tag" refers to what Edutagger defines as a "keyword". The current method works well given the name of the site (edutagger.com) and that keywords make sense from an educational perspective. However, it is important that there is no confusion and that Edutagger is as simple as possible to use.
If Edutagger changes to a traditional method (del.icio.us model), tags will refer to keywords and votes will refer to the method of increasing link popularity.
The other option is to use something completely different. Feel free to use the discussion option available below if you have any further thoughts. Before you do though, please select an option from the poll.
