Carol's Drawing Classes

I'm currently teaching two beginning and two advanced classes. If you're new to drawing, I recommend starting with the Beginner's Line Drawing and Shading classes.

  Beginning Line Drawing Class This course provides students with an introduction to basic line drawing. Students learn to draw with the help of a Frame-grid and then advance to drawing from life. No drawing experience required. $60 Sign-up for this class. Beginning Shading Class An Introduction to the principles of shading. Students learn pencil shading grips and how to create consistent shading through exercises and step by step tutorials. No drawing experience required. $20 Sign-up for this class. Sketching Nature Advanced instruction in the use of hatching and varied line to create expressive sketches from photos and life. Some drawing experience or the Beginner's Line Drawing and Shading classes required. $40 Sign-up for this class. Advanced Shading Technique Class - Blending With Brushes This course explains what brushes work best for blending, how to trim a brush to make it a better blending tool, and shows how to use a brush to work with and blend powdered graphite. Some drawing experience suggested for best results. $20 Sign-up for this class.
